Monday 24 November 2014 by Amy Clutterbuck

This month we're in Glasgow learn more about SACO's Cochrane Street Apartments, and how Christine juggles a busy work scehdule...

Whilst Christine is busy working tirelessly in our Glasgow office, she was able to find a few minutes to answer our questions and provide a little insight into her journey with SACO...and what she likes to do when not working!

What's your role at SACO?

I am the Apartment’s Manager for SACO Glasgow. I look after all SACO operations on Cochrane Street in the Merchant City.

I have been working with SACO for 8 years.

What were you doing before you joined SACO?

I started as a housekeeper when the building opened and some years later was offered the position of apartments manager. I have been working with SACO for 8 years now.

What do you most enjoy about your role?

I enjoy meeting new people on a regular basis, making them feel at home and knowing that it’s appreciated.  My role can be very challenging at times but never boring as every day is different! Oh and of course, I enjoy being part of a great team.

Christine Ormsby, SACO's Apartment's Manager in Glasgow

When you are not at work, what do you enjoy doing?

Taking nice long walks, spending time with my family and friends and spoiling my cats.

Think positive and positive things will happen!

What’s the most useful piece of advice you've ever been given?

Think positive and positive things will happen!

Name three things you like…

Laughing, a wee dram, and talking lots... sometimes too much!

And three things you don’t…

Arrogance, bad manners (it’s nice to be nice!) and standing in queues!

Thanks Christine!
