SACO has been rated as an ‘outstanding employer’ in the 2009 Best Companies Awards.

 

SACO received two stars in the employers’ equivalent of the famous Michelin restaurant guide rating system.

 

Ratings are based on the results of extensive staff surveys covering issues such as wellbeing, personal growth and leadership. Only the highest scoring companies are given star ratings and this year out of 795 applicants across the country only 150 achieved two stars.

 

It is a major achievement for the company, which entered the competition for the first time last year, when it was awarded a one star accreditation.

 

SACO chief executive Lesley Freed said: “Excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do and creating the right environment to attract and retain the best quality staff is therefore vital to our continuing success.

 

“It is very rare for a company to be awarded two stars within two years and it’s gratifying to be recognised nationally in this way.”

 

SACO accepted the award at the official awards ceremony, held at the Cumberland Hotel in London recently (29th January).
