To celebrate its first birthday, SACO Manchester has launched another 17 apartments to expand the company’s offering in the city centre.
The serviced apartment company opened 35 apartments last summer as part of the Piccadilly Place development. It has opened the additional 17 apartments in the same building to meet demand from both business and leisure travellers.
Occupancy rose from 33 to 87 per cent in the first eight months of trading, demonstrating the increasing popularity of serviced apartments in the city.
The collection of contemporary studio, one and two bedroom apartments are situated over the top three floors of The Hub at Piccadilly Place offering fantastic views across the skyline of Manchester.
Jo Redman, sales and marketing director, said: “Frequently referred to as the second capital of the UK, we were keen to introduce our brand and apartments in Manchester.
“The uptake has shown real promise, securing our confidence that now is the time to expand our offering, enabling more of the city’s visitors the chance to experience serviced apartments as an alternative to a hotel.
“Manchester has been popular with both leisure and business travellers as they provide flexibility, space and privacy. Business travellers can come and go as they please and work from their own home from home. Families and groups of friends can capitalise on the extra space that an apartment offers and save on expensive restaurant bills.”
SACO Manchester is home to the best connected apartments in the city because of their location – just a stone’s throw from Manchester Piccadilly Station and close to Manchester’s universities, The Palace Theatre, Manchester Art Gallery, Chinatown and the fashionable Canal Street. The Hub is only 15 minutes away from Manchester Airport by train, offering direct access to more than 200 destinations.
All of the apartments have floor to ceiling glazing which open onto ‘Juliet’ balconies or outside seating areas, offering city views.
There is also a reception with access to a concierge as well as guaranteed underground parking. Entrance is via a private courtyard with dramatic sculptures and water feature.
