SACO invited journalists across the country to Georgian Bath during the Jane Austen Festival (19 – 28 September), when the city goes back in time to Regency England.
Travel writers from regional and national publications descended on Bath for the weekend, including journalists from Scarlet, Best and Take 5 magazines. They all stayed at SACO’s stunning Bath apartments (graded 4* by VisitBritain).
SACO teamed up with Bath Tourism for the event to provide the guests with press passes, enabling them to explore the city’s attractions and enjoy trips to the Thermae Bath Spa and the Regency Festival Promenade, one of the highlights of the Jane Austen Festival.
SACO received extensive positive press coverage in regional and national papers, highlighting how SACO apartments are conveniently located and equipped to a high standard providing a home from home. Scarlet Magazine’s Rosie Fuller commented that the best bit was having your own front door key – so you didn’t have to stagger past a disapproving receptionist after too many cocktails!
