The best way to kick start your new year? Set goals. Give yourself direction, ambition and determination - make sure you take full advantage of the year ahead. What do you want to achieve? Where do you want visit? Be specific. Set timelines, set goals, set rewards!
Read a book
Behind every successful person, there is a good book filled with ideas and wisdom which could literally change your life. Whether you prefer fiction or non-fiction, biographies or novels, books engage our brains, challenge our opinions, and offer fresh perspectives. So get out there and buy a book… get inspired.
Travel and expand your thinking with new experiences
Make 2018 the year that you see more of the world. Go to places you never even dreamed of going. Norway? Bolivia? Madagascar? These are just a few beautiful places that really don’t get their fair share of tourists - so put on your adventurous boots and explore.
But if you’ve work commitments and need to scale your travels down slightly, try committing yourself to something new each month that you’ve never thought of doing, like:
- Giving up television
- Going vegetarian
- Taking time to meditate
- Reading a self-help book
- Drinking 10 glasses of water
- Learning phrases in another language
- Listening to different types of music
- Going trampolining
… The possibilities are endless.
2018 has arrived and the promise of being ‘more active’ this year is finally upon us. We all know exercise is good for us, and always has been so it’s important to start slowly but surely. A long walk every day, a run twice a week, gym sessions during the weekend… it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re embracing one of the million ways to get fit and healthy.
Finally write that business plan

We’re on the same page… new year, same resolution… never fully reached before the year is out. Make more time for family
Set up a schedule that is only devoted to spending quality time with your family. Movie night, board game Wednesdays, a weekend away … you get the picture. Oh, and if you like the sound of the last idea, then needless to say, we have the perfect apartments for you.
Get by with a little help from your friends
Time passes fast - work schedules, family obligations: life gets in the way. But it’s super important to make time for your nearest and dearest friends, even if it’s just for a coffee date before work... Money can't buy happiness but spending time with loved ones is always a good investment!
