A celebration of all things SACO

Wednesday 20 May 2015 by Liam Tullberg Tomorrow is the annual SACO Comms Event, our chance to gather the whole team together and review the past financial year, celebrate our achievements and successes and set the pace and direction for the coming 12 months, focusing on our mission ‘to reshape hospitality.’

This is also the perfect opportunity to honour and recognise the members of the team who really excelled through The SACO Oscars with categories including Best Internal Customer Service, New Kid on the Block (new starters in the last year) and Personal Growth and Development. Each award reflects the new values we launched at our last comms event: Be Ambitious, Have Team Spirit and Do The Right Thing.

Now with a team of over 200 spread across seven sites, it’s not often that the whole SACO team comes together, so the comms event is a key date in the SACO diary.

Last year was a big year for SACO as we opened several new apartments in locations including Marylebone, London Bridge and Covent Garden. We retained our 1 Star Status with Best Companies and introduced fantastic internal training programmes: Welcome to Being The Difference (promoting outstanding customer service) and LEAD (our management training programme). We explored the habits of the increasingly Millennial traveller and announced our merge with Oaktree and acquisition of the exciting Beyonder brand.

We can’t wait to move forward into the new year.
