Bristol Zombie Walk - 29th October
This event is not for the faint hearted - the Saturday before Halloween, the zombie apocalypse we’ve all been dreading will finally take over Bristol city centre. Hundreds of excited volunteers will be throwing on their scariest zombie costumes, waiting for the perfect moment to scare. You can go along and watch, join in or wait for the after-party at The Fleece and enjoy live bands and DJs.

Family Arts Festival - Throughout October
For a crafty day out without the horrors of Halloween, there’s the Family Arts Festival, a national event taking place over the whole month of October. Different activities for all ages – there is no limit. Enjoy expressing yourself through art or music, anything goes at the Family Arts Festival.
Bristol Christmas Market - 11th November – 24th December
You might not be ready to start thinking about Christmas yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy wrapping up warm and going for a mulled wine in a city that’s covered in fairy lights. This year Bristol’s Christmas market will be hosted by Xmas Markets Ltd, and they’ve promised it’ll be the usual feast for the senses. Once you’re there we highly recommend exploring the shops – we know you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the bargains on offer.
