Places to eat

Beneath impressive chandeliers, The Chameleon Bar and Restaurant offers excellent European cuisine that ranges from small bar nibbles to delicious three-course meals. After 30 years in the making, you can now enjoy a whole evening of entertainment here, with the choice of a café, bar, restaurant and club all under one roof.

Set in Birmingham’s sophisticated Mailbox centre, Cote Brasserie offers picturesque views over the canal side in one of the city’s prime locations. It offers a stylish and relaxing ambience, serving some of the finest French bistro cuisine throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Strada is renowned for its good quality and authentic Italian food that has catapulted them into a national chain in just over 10 years. You can enjoy a relaxing evening in rustic yet contemporary surroundings, and this particular restaurant is set over a mezzanine level. The pizzas are not to be missed!

If it’s just a casual dining experience that you’re after, then Café Opus, situated within the Ikon Art Gallery, serves fantastic British classics in a vibrant street of art galleries over the canal side. This café has a light and fresh ambience and is ideal for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
