Where to eat

Newcastle Oak is situated along the city’s picturesque quayside, in a beautiful Grade II listed building; Milburn House. Inside, you’ll discover a restaurant, deli and lounge that is run primarily by a father and son who are passionate about serving gourmet British food from posh pub grub, to a la carte and antipasti platters, to the people and visitors of Newcastle.

Blackfriars restaurant is rich in heritage, having first been established in 1239 as a Dominican Friary. It is now a renowned local restaurant within the heart of Newcastle, known for using fresh, local ingredients from its surrounding lands. The exceptional staff here are as varied as the food that they serve in their restaurant - classic British cuisine with an innovative twist.

Caffe Vivo is a relaxing café by day and simple supper place by night, serving authentic and wholesome Italian cuisine that brings a splash of sunshine to the city of Newcastle. Enjoy a Panini for lunch, a cup of coffee and cake with the girls in the afternoon, or a relaxing dinner of speciality dishes that originate from the soul of Italy.

The Landmark is set right in the hub of Chinatown, offering fine Oriental cuisine in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. Whether it’s a romantic meal, business lunch or a feast for the whole family, The Landmark will not disappoint with its delicious food and excellent staff. Once you’ve finished your meal, head over to the bar for a cocktail or two from their extensive cocktail list!
