When staying away from home it can be hard to stick to routine, and when you’ve had a long day working it can be even more difficult to drag yourself away from your comfortable apartment and run around in unfamiliar territory. That’s why we’ve created the perfect route for you to try – we’re making staying away from home easy and taking care of the navigation for you!
We don’t blame you for that cheeky croissant you had on the way to work this morning – staying away from home makes it so hard to be strict with yourself. Chase away that guilt with a little running - it is so beneficial for all aspects of health. Firstly, a bit of cardio is great to stretch your legs, exercise your lungs, and get your body warm and heart rate up. Not to mention it burns calories! Also, the fresh air is bound to clear your mind from the hectic day you may have had. Best of all, it’s free! Classes in London can be so expensive, and a jog around the city centre is a simple and inexpensive way of completing your weekly workout goals. Furthermore, the central location means you’ll take a tour of some of London’s world-renowned sights that you’re lucky enough to be close to.
Jog out of The Cannon through the streets of London
Based on the route taken by our lovely long stay guest at The Cannon, Racquel, this run gives you a scenic tour of the city. An easy five-kilometre jog, you’ll pass by the River Thames, the London Eye, Westminster, and beautiful old and new parts of the city.
