An incredible 700-year-old Abbey, steeped with over a thousand years of history; visit to explore the story behind this magnificent Gothic cathedral.
During your visit, wander through the picturesque cloisters, explore the Chapter House and College Garden; there’s also the Westminster Abbey Shop to explore when you come to the end of your visit.
Looking for somewhere to eat? Cellarium Cafe & Terrace serves delicious food within the 14th Century store house of Westminster Abbey, dine in style with the Abbey as a backdrop to your lunch!
Take afternoon tea under the graceful arches of the cellarium, or have breakfast while you enjoy the view from the tranquil outdoor terrace.
Westminster Abbey is usually open to visitors from Monday to Saturday throughout the year. On Sundays and religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, the Abbey is open for worship only. All are welcome and it is free to attend services.
Westminster Station tube stop is only a five-minute walk away; you’ll pass Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament on the way to the Abbey. St James’ Park is also within walking distance, at the end of which lies Buckingham Palace.
