Getting around London
Canary Wharf is situated on both the Jubilee and the DLR tube line. Many of the city's major landmarks and attractions are close by - it is just one stop to the O2 Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the ExCel centre - so here are just a few tips on what to see and do during your visit.
What to do during your visit
The Museum of London Docklands is situated right in the heart of Canary Wharf, just on the doorstep of SACO apartments, where you can delve into the history of the iconic docklands and learn the story of one of the world’s greatest cities.
Spanning the River Thames, the famous Tower Bridge is just a 5 minute tube ride away (London Bridge). Visit the exhibition or admire the stunning views of the London skyline and then unwind in one of the many restaurants and bars that line the banks of the world famous river.
The London Dungeon provides a fantastic couple of hours for all the family - professional actors will take you on a tour around the dark streets of London to introduce you to sinister characters from the past, plus there are a few rides along the way to add to the thrill!
The Tate Modern art gallery, just a 5 minute walk from London Bridge, showcases a huge collection of art from original pieces that date back to 1500 all the way to contemporary art of the present day.
