The Old Town Street Food Festival
A vibrant and rustic display of all things street food – the Old Town Street Food Festival is not to be missed if you’re in town. Gather together at the Three Sister’s restaurant and bar, a social hub for Edinburgh locals, and choose from a range of street food stalls guaranteed to tickle your fancy. Some of the businesses that will be serving up tasty delights include Hendersons of Edinburgh, Babu Bombay Street Kitchen, Barnacles & Bones, Daizy Delicious Crepes and Waffles, Hummingbird Glasgow (pan Asian) and Alplings signature ‘mountain food’. They’ll even be some artisan sweet treats in the form of Thinking Chocolate, The Marshmallow Lady and Sugar Daddy Edinburgh for when you fancy a change of taste. Combine this delicious feast with the backdrop of great artists playing relaxed local music and you’ve got yourself the perfect way to spend the Easter Weekend!
The Old Town Street Food Festival takes place on the 16th of April and occurs all day long.
Edinburgh’s Affordable Vintage Fair
Judy’s Vintage clothing once again holds the Affordable Vintage Fair at the Assembly Rooms, just off the shopping haven of George’s Street. Allowing you to stock up with affordable hand-me-down gems, these gorgeous garment stalls provide so much more than just old clothes. Featuring ladies clothing, menswear, homewares, accessories and hair and beauty, you’ll have plenty of trinkets to choose from. Bringing pin-up glamour to Edinburgh, enjoy a day of perusing around the delights on offer and even be tempted by some retro cupcakes and tea that really takes you back in time.

Edinburgh Farmer’s Market
Celebrate springtime in the most appropriate of ways by making a trip to Edinburgh’s renowned Farmer’s Market. With an abundance of fresh and local produce, this weekly market is held at Castle Terrace against the astonishing backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. From early morning until 2pm, this market offers all kinds of fruit, vegetables and flowers, juices and drinks, meat, fish and dairy, sweets and baking specialities. Pick up your seasonal produce from the market - anything from juicy strawberries and fresh flowers to organic smoked salmon and speciality cheeses. After a trip to Edinburgh’s Farmer’s Market you’ll be sure to leave smiling, and undoubtedly with a purchase or two!
Edinburgh’s Farmer’s Market occurs every Saturday from 9am – 2pm on the Castle Terrace in the city centre.
