The day we celebrate Guy Fawkes and his plot to kill King James, have spectacular firework displays and watch grand bonfires rage. Bonfire night is a magical way to spend your evening with loved ones. What’s cosier than wrapping up in your biggest coat with your fluffiest woolly hat and huddling around friends and strangers all excited to see the night sky light up? There are loads of amazing displays and events going on around the UK at this time of year however, we have narrowed down a list of the top ten places we recommend visiting this bonfire night.

 

 

Victoria Park Bonfire Night, Bristol

5th November 2019.

Wrap up and enjoy the array of the cockle-warming food and drink stalls at Victoria Park’s Bonfire night in Bristol this year. This event is a great place to take the family for an evening of wonder. Gaze upon the incredible firework display and the huge bonfire while being entertained by a marvellous ‘judge the Guy’ Guy Fawkes effigy competition. You decide who you think the best impersonator is.

 

 

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival, London

You’ll also get the opportunity to try the real taste of Bavaria at their humungous German bier festival or snuggle together at The Luna Cinema to watch some truly classic films in the impressive Victorian theatre.
