Spitfire Barbecue

There is no need for sun with this BBQ joint, whatever the weather Spitfire loves feeding you. A lot. The meats are glazed with a smoky BBQ sauce and complimented with a large bowl of fries - or if you’re feeling brave dirty, dirty fries. Located on the waterfront of Bristol, Spitfire is gorgeously designed with a large outside seating area, featuring fire pits for the realistic BBQ smell. Inside is also very spacious with an open plan bar and kitchen, allowing the smell of the sweet BBQ glazed meat to waft around. Spitfire BBQ ribs and burgers offer even the fussiest meat lovers the succulent palate they desire.

Quadruple- layered BBQ burger to the delicate seafood platter…

The Loch Fyne

Seafood is a tricky one, if it isn’t fresh then we’re not really interested. Luckily, The Loch Fyne situated on Queen Charlotte Street offers the most exquisite, fresh dishes at the highest quality. The Loch Fyn is hidden away, but the bright windows and enchanting smells should be enough to get anyone through the door. Simplistic wooden décor and pretty, patterned tiles scattered around the cuisine, it feels very cosy. Although the main attraction is their seafood platters, they also offer a varied range of meat and vegetarian dishes to suit any dietary needs. Delicious.

Can we tempt you with dessert…?

Swoon Gelato

Everything from the slick, refined, London edge décor to the warm, friendly staff, Swoon Gelato is a game changer in the Bristol dessert scene. Swoon pride themselves on their traditionally-made gelato with the promise of their staff taking extraordinary care to make each flavour mouth-watering. Swoon is located on College Green with floor to ceiling windows, along with outside seating that makes it perfect for a summer-time treat. Sorbetti, gelati and guest flavours, their ice cream lab will leave you confused by choice. We advise you not be scared of experimenting and venture into the unknown. Amarena cherry cheesecake with a scoop of coffee? Yes please.
