London’s Most Picture-worthy Winter Rooftops

Thursday 07 November 2019 by Jodie Alker This time of year is considered both beautiful and magical, with crisp mornings and chilly nights. Most of the time, all we want to do is run home and snuggle up in the warmth with our cosiest blankets and a nice hot cup of something. However, for those of you who would rather spend your evenings somewhere a little more picturesque, we think these rooftops might just be the perfect reason to stay out and enjoy the starry nights.

For a quirky winter night or a day out, Queen of Hoxton is a great place for a Nordic-themed evening and has now rightly so claimed itself to be a fundamental part of the Shoreditch skyline. Find a heated tepee to bundle into and treat yourself to toasting your own marshmallows over an open fire pit. They have constant events on that will interest any socialite or introvert with delicious food that is served fresh off the BBQ - you really can’t go wrong.

Order yourself an autumnal themed breakfast, afternoon tea or some delicious cocktails and unwind as you take in the beautiful and natural surroundings. Dalloway Terrace has so much style we imagine you’ll be joined by many others who are also looking for the same atmosphere to take that perfect selfie. It’s a truly spectacular setting.

You can try your hand at mini-golf, lawn bowls, practise your aim in the batting cage or if you’re looking for relaxation then you can enjoy the rooftop cinema. Based on top of a car park, Roof East has incredible views of the city and a fantastic bar offering unique cocktails such as the Golfbuster Sharer that holds an impressive five pints worth of drink!
