SACO hosts a Christmas party for the Teenage Cancer Trust with Russell Howard

The event was held at Area 61, a state of the art hospital unit dedicated to teenagers and their families fighting cancer, sponsored by the Teenage Cancer Trust. The event was made all the more special with an appearance by Russell Howard.  

Jamie Cargill, Teenage Cancer Trust Lead Nurse at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre, said: “We on ‘Area 61’ are very lucky to be having a wonderful Christmas party hosted by SACO The Serviced Apartment Company! SACO has been very generous to us over the years in allowing the families of our patients to have an apartment free of charge if there is one available.”

Jo Redman, Marketing Director at SACO said: “Teenage Cancer Trust has been our nominated charity at SACO over the past three years.  We are delighted to be continuing our support in this very practical and seasonal way.  We are so proud of our Aspire management trainees who have worked so hard to make the party a wonderful event for all those attending.

“Raising money and organising this party has been a fantastic opportunity for every single member of the Aspire group to put their learnings and new techniques into action. This first-hand experience has benefited each one of them and helped them to grow in their roles as managers at SACO.” 

Aspire is a group of 12 managers at SACO The Serviced Apartment Company who are undertaking a 9 month training course to develop their management skills and techniques in all departments across the company. The Aspire team decided to host the event at Area 61 to raise money for a fantastic cause and for a chance to put their newfound skills to the test.
