SACO wins Business Development Team of the Year

SACO The Serviced Apartment Company has been awarded Business Development Team of the Year at the 2014 People Awards in London.
The awards, which recognise outstanding individuals and teams across all aspects of the supplier element of corporate business travel management, are a true reflection that SACO is a key player in the corporate business travel management industry.
The award follows a highly successful year for SACO, gaining Serviced Apartment Provider of The Year 2014 at the Business Travel Awards, 1 star accreditation from Best Companies and Most Innovative Serviced Apartment Provider at the first ASAP (Association of Serviced Apartment Providers) award event. It was also a great year financially, acheived by more occupancy across the expanding SACO portfolio.
In the last 18 months SACO has launched a new technology platform that increased online sales by 50%. The technology also enhanced distribution and booking capability on the Global Distribution System (GDS) improving accessibility and availability for booking agents.
In October 2013, SACO opened a new aparthotel in Manchester Piccadilly which saw an incredible 80% occupancy in its opening month and introduced a range of Club Apartments with additional features and benefits for guests including early check-in/ late check-out and a luxurious ‘Welcome’ hamper.
